Dr Rahul Bhargava is presently the Director of Haematology, Paediatric Haematology Oncology & Bone Marrow at Fortis Hospital, Gurgaon. In 2016, he became the first Indian doctor to do and popularize stem cell transplants in multiple sclerosis. He and his team have done over 400 transplants. Dr. Bhargava has been credited to establish six low-cost centres across India namely Action Balaji Hospital, Batra Hospital, Sarvodaya Hospital, etc. He is well known for his excellent outcome in stem cell transplant, especially in haploidentical transplant, Dr. Bhargava’s vision of the first integrated centre of excellence in haematology, stem cell transplant and paediatric haematology has been fulfilled at FMRI, Gurgaon.
